This project consisted of construction of a one-story building totaling 155,000 square feet of floor area. The building consisted of standard perimeter loading dock and grade beam foundation walls, 9” reinforced slab on grade, exterior concrete masonry, exterior insulation finish system, pre-engineered metal sheeted walls, pre-engineered metal building primary
and secondary steel system, pre-engineered metal building roofing, and aluminum windows. The building was designed for a general office, a corrugated papering process which includes a 500’-0” continuous laminating conveyor system, corrugated paper cutting, warehousing of paper rolled goods, rail service for receiving of raw materials, and a sixteen door receiving and shipping area. The mechanical systems included standard plumbing, heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and electrical with some special emphasis for the manufacturing process which included an extensive boiler system, process piping, waste drainage with grease interceptor, and high voltage equipment connections.
