In this endeavor, employees in all categories, or positions, of employment are charged with this responsibility and assume this obligation as a requirement for employment with the company.

Safety Director
We are proud to have an experienced, full-time Safety Director whose responsibility is the implementation of LBM’s company’s safety policy and inspections along with maintaining corporate O.S.H.A. compliance requirements. John Dickson holds safety and health certifications from Eastern Kentucky University, U.S. Department of Labor, Kentucky Labor Cabinet, National Safety Council, American Safety and Health Institute, Associated General Contractors, and Associated Builders and Contractors.

In Compliance
LBM is in full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations with particular emphasis on the Occupational Safety and Health Standards or construction (29 CFR 1926) promulgated by the Administration of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (OSHA) and the standards adopted by the Commonwealth of Kentucky (KOSHA) pursuant to the authority granted in KRS 338.051 and 338.061 under 803 KAR 2:400 through 2:423.
