Building Information Modeling (BIM)

In the 21st Century, there has been the development of a process called Integrated Project Delivery (IPD). The IPD process is designed to resolve problems of productivity; budget overruns and missed scheduling which many in the industry say, are age old problems that stem from the ensuing adversarial roles and relationships inherent in contracting. This construction delivery system integrates, in a non-linear method, all the participants, systems and processes while minimizing production problems. It is a win-win situation for you, the client, from the conceptualization and design phases to the implementation and final closeout phases.

Building Information Modeling
Along with the IPD method, has been developed a process of generating and managing the construction process through a three-dimensional, real-time dynamic building modeling software called "BIM". This new software is used to demonstrate the entire construction life cycle including the processes of design; project management; sharing of materials needed for the project; isolation of work processes; sequences of scheduled events; and cost management. As this new method is refined, LBM will become more closely involved with this new construction process to deliver savings to our clients while providing the quality, budget and on-time scheduling as promised.
